Then we share common concerns with each other, and I am looking forward to working together to bring these things to fruition.
GETTING TO KNOW ME
I am 56 years old, and have been blessed with a lovely wife Cindy and 2 beautiful daughters Emily and Lillian. We have lived in Forsyth County for nearly 14 years and love it here! We are Republican and have conservative values. I am one of only two Candidates in the Commission District 5 race that have consistently voted Republican over the last 10 years. We attend Cumming First United Methodist Church, are active in our community and each Wednesday, I drive the bread and produce truck for the “Place”.
I am retired, allowing me to dedicate myself on a full time basis to YOU as your Commissioner. I am the only Candidate in District 5 that is able to work for YOU on a full time basis. Until I retired, I enjoyed a career which had been in technical sales support of voice, data and optical fiber switches.
SERVING THE NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY TODAY
I was the Chairman of the SPLOST VI Transportation Selection Committee. This Committee prioritized road projects to be completed with the use of SPLOST VI funds. Recently I have been active in working to prevent controversial zoning changes such as a major piece of property from Agricultural to Activity Center.
DEDICATED TO SERVING YOU TOMORROW
In preparation to serve YOU as your Commissioner, I have regularly attended the Commission Work Sessions and the Commission Meetings. Being retired has allowed me the time to make the most of these opportunities to become familiar with the process, policy and procedures involved in serving YOU as a Forsyth County Commissioner. Through these opportunities I have discovered the tremendous amount of time that is required by your elected Commissioners to work to maintain the quality of life we all enjoy in Forsyth County. As our beautiful county continues to grow, the time that will be required of its Commissioners to maintain its tremendous appeal will continue to grow with it.
Overall I believe our current county government is doing better than it ever has before. My experience in Forsyth County also shows there is still much that we are working towards to make even more improvements that will continue to enhance our quality of life. I look forward to serving you as we face the challenging times ahead and the issues our county is facing.
VOTE FOR JIM BOFF ON JULY 15th.
BOFF -- BEST ONE FOR FORSYTH
Vote for Jim Boff on August 5th. BOFF-- BEST ONE FOR FORSYTH! Remember that every vote counts.
The Jim Boff Campaign would like to invite you to come on out and enjoy the waves. Many of you have seen us out at the road intersections and off to the side of the road. We have been the ones proudly holding our Jim Boff signs and waving to you
In response to the many inquiries received because of candidate Julie Tressler’s written statements regarding Jim Boff, the campaign wishes to make the following statement.
In a regrettable display of desperation, Julie Tressler has tried to mislead Forsyth voters on Jim Boff’s very clear position on the Wal-Mart situation on Peachtree Parkway at Laurel Springs.
With the run-off on August 5th only days away, I wanted to thank all those who have put in many hours on my campaign...
Advance Voting is a convenient form of early in-person voting being held at four locations throughout the county the week prior to each election (Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30pm).
What did Jim really say at the Smart Growth Commissioners debate? Check out the video clip for yourself.
For all accounts, Jim Boff and his supporters should have been celebrating his victory on July 15th, but the party will need to be kept on ice till August 5th after the Run-Off.
Come join the City of Cumming and the Citizens of Forsyth for the BEST 4th of July Celebration. The fun and activities begin at the fairgrounds Thursday, July 3rd with a carnival type atmosphere...
On Sunday, June 29, 2008, Republican Women of Forsyth County will sponsor the “Summer Styling” fashion show where everyone can meet the candidates. The fashion show will feature some of the candidates.
