Future Land Use Map
There seems to be an issue between the current zoning maps and the Future Land Use Map which should be resolved. Some people look at the Future Land Use Map and then attempt to get their property re-zoned to that use. When they do there is sometimes a lot of opposition from groups who do not feel the Future Land Use map is valid. Somehow this has to be resolved. We need an accurate "as-built" map which shows the exact formula's used to determine how the density is computed, and we probably need an "as-zoned" map which shows what the density would be if all of the land was built to the level it is zoned for. As it is now we really don't know the level of the density the county has.
