The Taubman Project
Sometimes an opportunity which looks too good to be true, needs to be analyzed closely. After all, what if it is true? This $1billion development has the potential to provide a new and elegant look to the county, and also single handedly add millions of dollars in Local Option Sales Tax (LOST) moneys and thousands of jobs. What's more because of its location it will probably "pull" in lots of customers from outside the county, thus increasing our tax intake. This really requires a special look from the County because of its upside potential.
