Transportation
Transportation is one of the most crucial issues facing our county today. This is a problem each of us face on a regular basis as we go about our daily life. As Forsyth County continues to grow with the influx of more families and businesses the strain on our current infrastructure continues to increase. There is no quick fix to our transportation problem.
Recognizing the critical nature of our county's transportation problems, I decided to do what I could to aid in working to resolve these problems. I was the Chairman of the SPLOST VI Transportation Selection Committee. click here This Committee prioritized road projects to be completed with the use of SPLOST VI funds. click here
In preparation to serve YOU as your Commissioner, I have regularly attended the Commission Work Sessions and the Commission Meetings. I have served as Chairman on a committee to work to improve our transportation problems. Being retired has allowed me the time to make the most of these opportunities to become familiar with the process, policy and procedures involved in serving YOU as a Forsyth County Commissioner. I am willing and able to dedicate myself to YOU full time as your Commissioner to work to maintain and work to improve the quality of life we all enjoy in Forsyth County.
