Unified Development Code
I believe the Unified Developement Code is the single most important tool for protecting citizens from poor development planning and practices. One of the accomplishments of the current board of commissioners is the vast modification and improvement of this massive document. Correct application of the UDC in building should help with the protection of our streams, buffers, and exterior appearance of our neighborhoods. The UDC is a living document, meaning it is subject being changed but only in a publicly disclosed manner.
