In response to the many inquiries received because of candidate Julie Tressler’s written statements regarding Jim Boff, the campaign wishes to make the following statement.
In a regrettable display of desperation, Julie Tressler has tried to mislead Forsyth voters on Jim Boff’s very clear position on the Wal-Mart situation on Peachtree Parkway at Laurel Springs.
With the run-off on August 5th only days away, I wanted to thank all those who have put in many hours on my campaign...
Come and Enjoy the Waves
The Jim Boff Campaign would like to invite you to come on out and enjoy the waves. Many of you have seen us out at the road intersections and off to the side of the road. We have been the ones proudly holding our Jim Boff signs and waving to you. With the election just a few days away, now is your last chance to participate in a true Grassroots Campaign activity. Many a friendship has been struck up while working to promote your candidate. You really have to believe in your candidate to take part in a wave. It might be hot, but soon you will be too busy encouraging the citizens to take your message to heart that you don't even realize it's a tad warm. Here are the times and locations of the last scheduled Boff Waves for this election.
Our remaining opportunities are :
Saturday morning, 9:00AM – 10:00AM, Laurel Springs Parkway
Saturday afternoon 12:00 - 2:00 PM , The Avenues
Monday afternoon 4:30PM - 6:30PM, Atlanta Bread Company on Highway 20.
Tuesday Morning, 7:15AM – 8:30AM, Brookwood Road and 141
Please try to show up for as many of these as possible. If you can make it to a wave, please try and send Kim a quick e-mail at kim@jimboff.com so we can be looking for you. Come on out and join the wave. We have Boff T-shirts, yard and waving signs and magnetic bumper stickers. These things get to be addictive. You show up and the next thing you know, you are having a blast with a bunch of really great people. That is just another return on our time investment.
