In a regrettable display of desperation, Julie Tressler has tried to mislead Forsyth voters on Jim Boff’s very clear position on the Wal-Mart situation on Peachtree Parkway at Laurel Springs.

She stated that “Jim boff has been reluctant to give his position on Wal-Mart”, when in fact he clearly stated that he would have denied the stream buffer variance request.

"I said this on tape, here on June 26th. Tressler was sitting next to me and is clearly visible on the video, so she cannot deny her awareness of what I said. Whether this is a violation of State Ethic Commission rules or not will ultimately be determined by the Commission".

Tressler’s blatant attempt to mislead voters is a clear indication of how she will behave as a commissioner. Those that endorse her are painted with the same brush and should be personally ashamed of their involvement.

Those considering voting for such a person should be guided by this behavior, especially when coupled with her lack of courage in responding to the 8 “tough questions” that Jim Boff did respond to. Her recent mailing featuring an empty podium further underscores her lack of character as well as lack of courage.
