Vote for Jim Boff on August 5th. BOFF-- BEST ONE FOR FORSYTH! Remember that every vote counts.
The Jim Boff Campaign would like to invite you to come on out and enjoy the waves. Many of you have seen us out at the road intersections and off to the side of the road. We have been the ones proudly holding our Jim Boff signs and waving to you
In response to the many inquiries received because of candidate Julie Tressler’s written statements regarding Jim Boff, the campaign wishes to make the following statement.
In a regrettable display of desperation, Julie Tressler has tried to mislead Forsyth voters on Jim Boff’s very clear position on the Wal-Mart situation on Peachtree Parkway at Laurel Springs.
With the run-off on August 5th only days away, I wanted to thank all those who have put in many hours on my campaign...
Victory Party Postponed Till August 5th
For all accounts, Jim Boff and his supporters should have been celebrating his victory on July 15th, but with the flies in the ointment (Terry Sweeney and Walter Waddell), the party will need to be kept on ice till August 5th after the Run-Off.
Statistics from an article on Cumminghome.com show the fact that Jim Boff is clearly the choice of the Forsyth County Voters. Please click here to view the entire story.

July 15th Voting Statistics-
On July 15 the voters of Mr. Boff's home precinct trusted him with 77.7% of their votes. Ms Tressler’s home precinct trusted her with 41.7% of their votes. The 5th district voted almost (2 to1) in favor of Mr. Boff. Plus, Mr. Boff was the top vote getter in 21 out of a total of 33 precincts in the county.
August 5th Run-Off Voting Challenge-
Mr. Boff was clearly the choice of his precinct, the 5th district and the county at large. However, his opponent will outspend him by a large margin in the runoff and has the support of a well oiled political machine. Mr. Boff is obviously the most qualified and will represent the best interests of all the people of Forsyth County.
All of the Jim Boff supporters have worked continuously on his campaign. They have attended waves, sent letters, delivered flyers, called friends and family and sent e-mails in support of Jim. The hurdle facing this campaign at this time is to get the voters out to the polls. This will be no easy feat with there being just two positions for voters to cast a ballot for. The voter turnout with all the positions up for grabs a few short weeks ago garnered a dismal number of voters. In Forsyth County there are about 70,000 registered voters. The fate of the county will be decided on, for the next FOUR years, by about 12,500 or less.
What can you do? First, please make sure that you remember to go and vote. You can vote early from Monday July 28th till Friday August 1st. The Run-Off election will be held on Tuesday, August 5th. For Run- Off Election information please click here for voter information Next, please stress to everyone you know how important it is for them to get out and Vote for Jim Boff. In this election it is going to be very close and every vote will count. The Opposition will have their "special interest" voters out to the polls because they know that if they win this commission seat then politics in Forsyth County will once again be in the hands of the "special interest" powers and out of the hands of the people.
With your help to get everyone out to vote, we will be able to celebrate the citizens victory with the election of Jim Boff on August 5th. Hope to see you there.
